Can this Lubbock, Texas boy sing the blues or what!!! Delbert grew up in the music business in
Fort Worth, Texas. Stephen Bruton, a Fort Worth singer/songwriter, who has been side man
for not only Delbert, but Kristofferson, Bob Dylan, Bonnie Raitt and others says, "You might play
in a country band, a rock band and a blues band, all in the same day. If you could play a shuffle,
you could work anywhere." Delbert did the road houses and honkey tonks outside of Fort Worth
on the music history famed Jacksboro Highway. He got down and dirty and learned the Blues from
some of the best like Bobby Bland and Junior Parker.

gives the audience at the Pier in Santa Monica some rockin' blues that had
the folks up off their lawn chairs and blankets dancing with friends and family.
